Made this at work, and it made my office smell wonderful! A few coworkers agreed and tried the coffee. Positive feedback all around. I had the pre-ground beans. I can only imagine how much more rich the flavors are with freshly ground beans! Pro-tip: if you really enjoy coffee, invest in a grinder and grind your beans right before brewing. As soon as beans are ground, they start to lose flavor due to air and light exposure.
I could taste the bacon and the maple sugars. Very yummy!
